CHAD R. CHRISTENSEN, PSYD

Dr. Chad Christensen earned his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in 2018 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Idaho since 2013. His educational focus has been acute (severe) mental illness since beginning his Masters of Counseling program in 2010. Dr. Christensen has worked in many different private and state psychiatric hospitals from 2012 to 2018 throughout his Masters and Doctoral training. His full-time doctoral internship was focused on training in forensic competency evaluations, psychological assessment, and behavioral intervention with inpatient pre-trial male and female patient populations. Dr. Christensen has been trained in Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) since 2013. Dr. Christensen is a post-doctoral psychology resident at Treasure Valley Psychology in Boise, ID.
